JOSEPH ODUBER AND SHIP REPAIR was founded in 1955 by Mr. Joseph Oduber, better known as " JOE " born on Sept. 3, 1918.
The Company started with primarily business in Ship Repair, on anchor repairs and sea voyage repairs. Paralleling the ship repair business the other activities were: Ship supplies, Tugboat Services (owned three (3) Tugboats: Linda, Mayra & Trujillo). Before ship repairs Joseph Oduber started a Tire Recapping Shop that worked from 1954 - 1956.
Even before the Tire recapping shop Joseph Oduber started with Essoville Gasoline Station from 1952 to 1981 where after from 1982 to 1989 by his eldest son. The station was later turned over to Esso Petrolera by June 1989.
